Our team consists of travel and outreach specialists as well as research biologists and teachers who specialize in environmental education and environmental conservation.

Ecorana offers travel and environmental education abroad opportunities in the tropical countries of Belize, Mexico, Ecuador and Taiwan. We offer eco-travel opportunities in Canada and in the US.
Our biologists and teachers are well-trained in tropical ecology, herpetology, and ornithology, and as such, studies in tropical biology are the primary focus of our educational holidays. All of this to make sure you go exactly where you want to go and see exactly what you want to see!
Our team’s diverse interests and expertise allow us to plan all types of holidays and ecotours ranging from environmental wildlife ecotours to yoga retreats to West African drumming courses to ecology field technique courses and workshops. Wherever your interests lie, you can be guaranteed that Ecorana will be right there with you.
We maintain our values of environmental and cultural conservation and stewardship, hands-on environmental and ecological education, and inclusive learning. We seek to instill those values in all visitors to Belize.
Our primary field station partner is the Toucan Ridge Ecology and Education Society. Research Center. T.R.E.E.S is located in the picturesque and biodiverse Maya Mountains (www.treesociety.org).
Most of our clients will spend at least a portion of their studies in Belize at this station, however, we also send guests to many additional field stations, educational centers, and eco-lodges both on the mainland and on the islands of Belize. We partner with a diverse assemblage of local scientists, educators, tour companies, tour guides, and park managers and associations. Above all, to make sure you go exactly where you want to go and see exactly what you want to see and more!
You want to stay with us longer? We offer a variety of internship 6 week internship programs. Live with us at the station and work on a hands on ecology projects.
